Share Reports

After a scan finishes, you can share the results with anyone using a public link. Viewers do not need a Sitepager account. Use shared reports for client reviews, internal handoffs, and async feedback before publishing.

From the dashboard or All Runs: Click the send icon in the Actions column on any completed run.

From inside the report: Click Share in the top-right corner of the report, next to Edit settings and Rerun scan.

Both open the same share modal.

  1. Click Share from the dashboard or from inside the report
  2. Review the modal. It confirms which run you are sharing and warns that anyone with the link can view the results
  3. Optionally expand Preview overrides to customize how the link appears when shared
  4. Click Create share link
  5. Click Copy to copy the link to your clipboard

Reports are private by default. Nothing is shared until you click Create share link.

Before creating the link, you can customize how it appears when pasted into Slack, LinkedIn, or similar tools. Expand Preview overrides in the share modal to set:

  • Preview name: the name shown in link previews. Leave blank to auto-detect from the site.
  • Logo URL: a square PNG or JPG used in the preview card. Leave blank to auto-detect the favicon.

Sitepager generates the preview card automatically. Auto-detection runs after the link is created.

You can update the preview name and logo URL after creation. Click Save changes to apply updates.

Viewers see the full scan results: pages scanned, visual changes, broken links, SEO issues, and performance health. They can browse the report the same way you do inside the product.

Shared reports are view-only. Viewers cannot edit results or access your workspace, other scans, or any account settings.

Once a report is shared, clicking Share opens a dropdown with three options:

  • Copy share link: copies the public URL to your clipboard
  • Edit share preview: update the preview name or logo URL
  • Disable share link: revokes the link immediately. Anyone who tries to open it sees a message that the report is no longer available.

You can re-share the same report at any time.

Revoke when the review is done. If the report contains information you do not want publicly accessible long-term, turn off sharing once the team has reviewed.

Use clear scan names. The scan name appears in the shared report. Names like Main Site - Desktop - US help viewers understand what they are looking at without any explanation from you.
